Cape Town is the third largest city of South Africa with a population of almost 3.5 million and has been the city of the South African Parliament since 2004. Between October and march, Cape Town is a popular attraction for many tourism which is shown by their growing numbers in recent years. This in turn has made Cape town an important economic sector for the country. One of the favourite sites of tourists is the Table Mountain but the city has plenty more to offer. Museums, historic buildings, Castles and the oldest surviving building in South Africa are all options worth considering.

The harbour town is named after a German merchant from Bremen 'Adolf Lüderitz' on behalf of whom the area in question was bought. A lot of the architecture is typical to the Art Nouveau period, which was prominent around the turn of the 20th century. Penguins and flamingos can be found 10km to the west on the small island of Halifax

Walvis Bay, 'Whale Bay' in English, is a city and bay on the west coast of Namibia. The city is home to the main sea port in Namibia and is the third largest city in the country. 67,000 people live in Walvis Bay on the Atlantic coast. In the city there is the Rhenish Mission Church, which is a National Monument in Namibia. Outside the city numerous tours and excursions are offered. Besides seals and dolphin tours, a trip to the southern lagoon is recommended. The 5,000-year-old lagoon is Namibia's oldest and largest.

Jamestown is the capital of the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic. The city has about 700 inhabitants and is situated on the main island of St. Helena. The island is of volcanic origin. The main attraction of Jamestown, is "Jacob's Ladder", a staircase with 699 steps. In a climb, you can enjoy an impressive view. Other attractions include the Longwood House, the Plantation House and St. Paul's Cathedral.

Rio de Janeiro is a metropolis in southeastern Brazil, where samba music can be heard year round. A seaside city, Rio is world-famous for its beaches, such as Copacabana. Atop Mount Corcovado, stands a major icon of the city and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: the 125-foot-tall Christ the Redeemer statue. The city's lively Carnaval festival is one of the largest in the world with flashy costumes and parade floats.

The name comes from the Portuguese Ilha Grande and means "Big Island". Ilha Grande is one of the most famous Brazilian islands and is part of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The Ilha Grande offers 86 spectacular beaches and a national park with an Atlantic rain forest, home to numerous rare species.

Located approximately 45 miles away from São Paulo is the city of Santos, Brazil. Cruise passengers will be able to take a lot from the coastal town. Visitors can soak up the sun or hang ten at pristine beaches like Enseada Beach and Astúrias Beach. Museum-lovers also have some entertainment options. The Museu do Mar is a fascinating maritime museum, and the Museum of Modern Art has plenty of thought-provoking exhibitions. Considering that Santos is a coffee port, visitors should definitely take some time to enjoy some of the best brewed coffee in the world.
