Tour Itinerary (Celebrity Millennium)

‣ Day 1

  • ● Fly UK to Hanoi, Vietnam (Overnight)

‣ Day 2 - Hanoi

  • Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, process the immigration procedure, then get your luggage and walk straight to the Exit Gate where our driver is waiting. After self-introduced, you will transfer directly to Hanoi (Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM). The rest of the day is yours. Stay overnight in Hanoi. 
  • ● Overnight stay in a hotel 

‣ Day 3 - Hanoi

  • After having your breakfast, you are going to visit must-see attractions of a capital city: - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (visit outside) – Ba Dinh Square: It is a mausoleum which serves as the resting place of Vietnamese revolutionary leader and President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi. It is a large building located in the center of Ba Dinh Square, where Ho, Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Vietnam from 1951 until his death in 1969, read the Declaration of Independence on 2 September 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House: It is an unique simple house with great values. Coming to the house, you can get a glimpse into the life of the late President Ho Chi Minh. - One Pillar Pagoda – built between the years of 1028 - 1054 during the reign of Emperor Ly Thai Tong.
  • ● Now it is one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. - Central Sector of Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. - Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam built in 1070. It is a superb example of traditional-style Vietnamese architecture. - Right in the centre of the serene Sword Lake is Ngoc Son Temple, a prominent temple sitting on a small island. The sacred temple, along with other architectures, create a historical complex that has been the pride of Hanoian for hundreds of years.
  • Afterwards you will take an in-depth walking tour of Hanoi Old Quarter for an overview of the local life and businesses before your return to the hotel. 
  • ● Stay overnight in Hanoi.

‣ Day 4 - Ninh Binh 

  • Our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel. Head to the south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2.5 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh.
  • First stop at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, you will have a quick visit to two temples built in honor of the emperors Dinh, Le, their sons, and the Queen... to know why Hoa Lu was built as capital of Vietnam in ending of 9th century.
  • Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which means literally “three caves” (1.5-hour boat trip). With “Ha Long Bay on Land” views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery
  • Arrive at Mua Cave and start an amazing trek (climb up approximately 500 stone steps) to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to watch the spectacular rice valley with specious view of the nature, enjoy fresh air, take memorable photos.
  • After that, transfer to your hotel for checking in. Stay overnight in Ninh Binh.

‣ Day 5 - Hanoi 

  • ● Early rise – breakfast - take a drive on a countryside road through the paddy fields to Ha Long Bay, one of New Seven Natural Wonders.
  • Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional boat – set sail through the limestone islands – have a nice seafood lunch – take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village – return to the boat and attend a short cooking class – time to rest on the upper deck at sunset – enjoy a delicious dinner.
  • The rest of the day is your leisure. Why not play cards, try your luck at fishing, watch movies or simply enjoy some drinks and chat with your friends at the bar on board.
  • ● Overnight on the ship

‣ Day 6 - Ha Long Bay 
  • ● Up early – top deck – Tai Chi - light breakfast – disembark for an easy exploration of the cave close by – return to your boat - check out your cabins – enjoy a nice brunch while sailing back to land.
  • ● Our driver is waiting to transfer you back to Hanoi airport. Take your flight to Hue City.
  • ● Upon arrival, meet our driver then go to your hotel for checking in. Stay overnight in Hue.
  • ● Overnight on the ship

‣ Day 7 - Hội An 

  • After breakfast, you will take an in-depth tour of this historical city. Today’s experiences include: The countryside market - Hue Historic Citadel, which contains the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City.
  • Go back to your vehicle and transfer to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – Transfer by road to visit Minh Mang Tomb. We expect to finish a tour between 4 PM to 5 PM.
  • You will be transferred (around 3 hours) to Hoi An Ancient Town. Upon arrival, checking in your hotel. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

‣ Day 8 - Hội An 

  • Overnight stay in a hotel 
  • After Breakfast today you will explore: - My Son Sanctuary: Explore the past of the ancient Kingdom of Champa at this breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site. In December 1999, UNESCO designated My Son Sanctuary as a World Heritage Site. This Cham tower complex is one of Vietnam's most beautiful and impressive Cham temples. Each temple has a unique structural style that reflects the historical stages of the Champa kingdoms. Only about 20 of these temple towers still stand in My Son because of natural disasters and war-related damage. However, it is still a destination that attracts tourists from all over the world.
  • Come back to Hoi An Ancient Town, spend the rest of the day for a walking tour around this enchanting port town, follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French, and European architectures. Some highlights here are Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Lantern Market and Fukian Assembly Hall.
  • Stay overnight in Hoi An.

‣ Day 9 - Hội An & Ho Chi Minh City 

  • Flight to Ho Chi Minh City with major airline.
  • Today our tour guide and driver will transfer you to Da Nang Airport. Take your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Upon arrival, meet our tour guide then start a tour to visit: - War Remnants Museum: It is the unique museum in Vietnam to systematically study, collect, conserve and display exhibits on war crimes and consequences inflicted on the Vietnamese people by foreign aggressive forces. Simultaneously, the Museum appeals to everybody to oppose unjust wars, preserve global peace, promote friendship and solidarity among nations.
  • Continue seeing the beautiful structures from French colonial times such as Notre Dame Cathedral (visit outside), and historic Central Post Office. - Ben Thanh Market: It is located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, in District 1. The market is one of the earliest surviving structures in Ho Chi Minh City and an important symbol of the city. Ben Thanh Market is a famous destination for many local and foreign tourists from all around the world.
  • Return to your hotel. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

‣ Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City 

  • Overnight stay in a hotel 
  • ● Up early - Breakfast - A two-hour drive to My Tho. Today’s experiences include: Upon arrival you will take a boat trip on Tien River, get over Tien River to the other side (Ben Tre land). Sight-seeing fish farms along the Dragon Island on the way. Through Xep Canal in Ben Tre (land of coconuts) to see coconut collection set and how the locals make handicrafts from coconut trunk and shell. Enjoy seasonal fruits and listen to traditional music.
  • Take the motor cart (“xe loi”) on the village path and stop at Mr. Nam Ngo’s orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. See bees breeding in wooden boxes under longan trees.
  • Take a rowing boat along water palm creek. Boat to see local people making coconut candy, taste candy (special products of Ben Tre Province).
  • Afterwards go back to the car for your transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

‣ Day 11 - Singapore 

  • Flight to Singapore with major airline.
  • After your breakfast, our private driver and tour guide will pick up all at hotel’s lobby at 8:30 AM.
  • Then depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, the trip will take approximately one-and-a-half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in harsh conditions of the wartime.
  • Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially-constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side-by-side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-shaped tunnels for security purpose during the war.
  • ● Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
  • Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun (payment by yourself).
  • After that, you will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Take the flight to Singapore. Own transfer to Hotel for 2 Night Stay.
