Tour Itinerary (NCL Getaway)

‣ Day 1 - Toronto

  • ● Fly from the UK to Toronto, Canada. Upon arrival in Toronto transfer to Hotel. Rest of the Day at Leisure. Overnight stay in a hotel, Breakfast included at your hotel.

‣ Day 2 - Toronto

  • ● 8:30 am Depart on a Toronto City tour including Kensington Market, Chinatown & Graffiti Alley. Walk to Nathan Phillips Square to see Old City Hall and get a picture with the TORONTO sign.
  • ● Venture up the iconic CN Tower to get a birds eye view of the city.
  • ● Enjoy a local Food Tour where you will explore Toronto’s oldest market - St. Lawrence Market. From there, you’ll venture onto the Distillery District, a pedestrian-only area with charming cobblestone streets and beautiful Victorian-era buildings. This district was once the largest distillery in the world and has since been transformed into a hub for arts, culture, and entertainment.
  • ● 2:00 pm Depart for Niagara Falls
  • ● 4:00 pm Arrive in Niagara Falls and store your luggage at the hotel
  • ● Join your guide for a brief walking tour of Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill
  • ● Enjoy a group dinner this evening at the Table Rock House Restaurant overlooking Horseshoe Falls

‣ Day 3 - Niagara Falls

  • ● Overnight stay in a hotel, Breakfast included at hotel
  • ● 8:00 am Take a scenic drive on the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake and marvel at the fall colours
  • ● Stop at the Niagara Glen and explore the Nature Centre or take a brief hike along the gorge. The Niagara Glen features some of the largest trees of their kind and is home to approximately 490 species of vulnerable plants and animals.
  • ● Enjoy a Wine Tasting in Niagara-on-the-Lake and discover why the region is home to some of the oldest and most established wine producing vineyards in Canada
  • ● Afterwards, return to Niagara Falls and enjoy free time for lunch
  • ● After lunch, ride the Hornblower cruise and embark on a breathtaking voyage to the base of Niagara Falls. Feel the thundering roar and refreshing mist as you come face-to-face with the famous Canadian Horseshoe Falls
  • ● The rest of the afternoon is free to shop and explore.
  • ● This evening, get unprecedented access to the iconic Niagara Parks Power Station & Tunnel after dark with an all-new nighttime sound and light show. This tour highlights both the remarkable history and unique architectural features of this 115-year-old engineering marvel. You’ll get an exclusive view the illuminated falls from an observation platform at the edge of the Niagara River

‣ Day 4 - Niagara Falls & Albany, NY

  • ● Breakfast included at hotel
  • ● 9:30 am Depart for White Meadows Farms and enjoy a Sugar Bush Tour
  • ● Learn about the production of maple while exploring the Sugar Shack and surrounding forest. Take a tractor-pulled wagon ride and afterwards, enjoy a maple syrup tasting including Taffy-on-Snow and a maple-inspired charcuterie board.
  • ● 12:30 pm Depart for the United States border
  • ● Once in the US, continue to Albany, New York
  • ● 4:00 pm Stop briefly in Syracuse and marvel at the 19th century architecture surrounding Clinton Square
  • ● 7:00 pm Check in to your hotel in Albany, NY

‣ Day 5 - Albany - Catskill Mountains - New York City

  • ● Breakfast included at hotel
  • ● 8:00 am Check out and depart for the Catskills
  • ● Follow the Hudson River south before taking the scenic route into the Catskills. As you gradually climb the surrounding mountains, you’ll pass cascading waterfalls, flowing streams, and fertile countryside before heading back into the forest.
  • ● 9:15 am Stop at Kaaterskill Falls, the tallest cascading waterfall in New York State
  • ● 11:30 am Take part in a Foraging Excursion guided by a local naturalist. Discover local flora and fungi species, including their edible and medicinal properties.
  • ● Free time for lunch in Sullivan County
  • ● Depart for New York City
  • ● 6:00 pm Check into your NYC hotel

  • ● Breakfast included at hotel followed by a day exploring Midtown
    ● Spend the morning exploring the iconic Central Park, one of the most magical spots
    in the city
    ● Afterwards, take in the views from the Empire State Building’s 86th floor observation
    deck. Explore the different exhibits that cover the history of the building and the city.
    ● Visit Time Square and enjoy free time to explore and eat dinner
    ● This evening, enjoy a Broadway show

    ● 8:30 am Stroll along the High Line in Chelsea. Elevated above the bustling streets, this
    former railway line has been transformed into an urban park complete with gardens,
    art installations, and stunning views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.
    ● Stop for lunch in Chelsea Market
    ● Afterwards, head into Manhattan and visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, a place for
    reflection and honoring all those affected by the events of 9/11.
    ● Free time to explore the financial district before taking a stroll across the famous
    Brooklyn Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn, providing
    stunning views of the city skyline and the East River.

‣ Day 8 - New York City
