The city of Southampton is located on the southern coast of England, just 69 miles away from London. It’s a fascinating city full of sights and a major cruise port with excellent transport links from all over the UK. With several means of getting to the Southampton Cruise Terminal, we recommend the following options:
- Travelling by air – The local airport is located only 5 miles away from the cruise terminal. From there you can choose between a taxi, a coach and a train.
- Travelling by train – Southampton Central station is the nearest train station to the cruise terminal. We recommend you grabbing a taxi (approx. a 5-minute ride) to get to your ship, as it’s more convenient with luggage. You’ll find plenty of them outside the station.
- Travelling by coach – Many cruise lines will offer you a coach to the cruise terminal from various pick-up points, so we recommend you check with your cruise line before sailing. Another option is to search the National Express website for the details, as they are serving the city of Southampton and may be a great resource for your journey.
- Travelling by car – If you prefer travelling by car, all you need to do is enter Southampton Cruise Terminal with your navigator and follow the directions. For your convenience, there’s parking available for pre-booking.
