The port city of Keelung, Taiwan is home to the second most important port in the country. The Keelung Ghost Festival is particularly well-well known and reflects the culture of the country. Boat trips to Keelung Island are a popular tourist activity. The island is essentially a pyramid shaped mountain peak, which from the top offers stunning views over Keelung and the harbour. Heping Island, connected to the city by bridge, is the location of the fish market which offers the freshest local seafood. Of historical interest is the Ershawan Fort, a chinese built fortification.

Kaosiung is located in southwestern Taiwan. This busy city offers tourists plenty of attractions. For example, you can climb the Shoushan, in English the "Mountain of Longevity", on which there are several temples and pavilions. The Martyrs Shrine at the top of the mountain offers a spectacular view.

The Philippine capital city of Manila, showcases the multi-faceted which exists in Asia today. The city skyline is lined with towering skyscrapers while the outer parts of the city are more reflective of the traditional styles of buildings. Manila is home to one of the world's oldest Chinatowns. The Rizal Park which sprawls a large area and contains many monuments of significance such as the Rizal Monument. The impressive oceanarium at Manila 'Ocean Park' offers vistors the chance to witness the vast array of sea life which can be found in Manila's waters.

The city is dominated by traditional market places in surrounded by skyscrapers and Chinese business houses. From atop Signal Hill, you will be able to enjoy the best view of the city and its main landmark - the State Mosque.
