Since 1437, Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland. It is located on the east coast of the country and is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

The Trondheim fjord, with a length of 130 kilometers of the third longest fjord in Norway. It is located in central western Norway, stretching from the west to Ørland Steinkjer. The city, which gives the name of this fjord, lies directly to this fjord and measures at its lowest point at 617 meters Agdenes. The largest islands in the fjord are Ytterøy and Tautra.

Ijmuiden is a town of 30,000 inhabitants in northern Holland at the southern entrance of the North Sea Canal and is the ideal starting point for a trip to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands and has approximately 770,000 inhabitants. Besides the historic buildings that were often very high, but built very narrow, you will find many museums and religious buildings. This British city is situated on the north bank of the Thames, next to a sea port and a fortress. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and is fast becoming a European cultural capital. The city is well-known for its connections to the Titanic and the impressive Titanic Belfast experience opened in 2012. The city offers a fantastic variety of shops, with multiple shopping centres such as the Victoria Square Shopping Centre. Belfast City Hall, open since 1906 stands at the centre of the city and on sunny days the surrounding grounds become a popular picnic spot.

Honfleur is located at the mouth of the Seine, as it flows into the English Channel. The port city is known for its shimmering light. Many painters used this region in the past as inspiration for for their artwork. One of the attractions, the Pont de Normandie, connects Honfleur and Le Havre. This bridge has a span of 856 m, the largest cable bridge in Europe. Among the attractions in Le Havre are the Church of St. Joseph, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Bridge of Normandy.

In the north of Belgium, along the Scheldt river is Antwerp, a city known worldwide for the important role it plays in the processing and trading of diamonds. Antwerp has its very own Diamond District, visitors can partake in walking tours to learn more. The historic center of Antwerp is characterized by many well-preserved buildings from the late Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau periods. Antwerp is also known for the vast array of markets which take place in the city, offering items such as antiques, flowers, local produce and much more.
