The Isle of Wight is an island off the south coast of Britain, it lies on the English channel opposite the town of Southampton. Cowes, known as the world's premier yachting centre it the main port of the island. Geologically, the Isle of Wight belongs to the Cretaceous period and its chalk hills, running across the entire center of the island are an outstanding natural feature.

Dun Laoghaire or Dunleary is a beautiful seaside town in County Dublin, only a short distance from the city centre.

The Holy Loch is a sea loch which lies two miles north of Dunoon on the Cowal peninsula. Approximately one mile across, the loch extends inland for between two and three miles the west, depending on the tide.

Staffa is a rocky island on the west coast of Scotland which belongs to the Inner Hebrides. The name is derived from the Staffa word for "Island of Pillars" . The island is only 200 by 600 feet and is uninhabited but in summer it is visited daily by excursion boats.

Tobermory is the main town of the Isle of Mull, which is one of the Inner Hebrides, off the north west coast of Scotland. The colorful houses lining the harbor of Tobermory shape the scenery of the place.

Stornoway has about 8000 inhabitants and is the largest town on the island of Lewis. It is one of the Outer Hebrides islands which lie off the west coast of Scotland.

The island of Heimaey is a volcanic island and makes up part of the Westman Islands archipelago. It lies off the south coast of Iceland.
