Bantry is an ancient natural bay off the coast of West County Cork, Ireland. It runs into the Atlantic Ocean. The bay is deep and has one of the longest inlets in southwest Ireland, bordered on the north by Beara Peninsula, which separates Bantry Bay from Kenmare Bay.
