The Hardanger fjord is about 160 km long and lies on the southwestern coast of the Atlantic in Norway. The island is in the middle of the fjord Varaldsøy. The province around the Hardanger fjord is county of Hordaland. The deepest part of the Hardanger fjord is 725 m deep.

Around 1,000 inhabitants live on Eidfjord. A visit to the Hardangervidda Nature and Culture is recommended for interesting information about the history, wildlife, nature and geology of the region.

The small town of about 2,000 residents in an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. In summer you can take a vintage train to Bjorli and back. In addition, the place is a popular starting point for a trip across the Troll. From here you have stunning views of the surrounding area.

The 565m deep Nordfjord is located in the Norweigian county of Hordaland and is surrounded by a 1400m high mountain landscape. It is one of the longest fjords in the country.

Alesund is a Norwegian port town located in the North-West, which owes much of its architectural prowess to the fact that it had to be rebuilt anew in 1904 in Art Nouveau style after a big fire outbreak. The mountain of Aksla is where the best views in town can be enjoyed from. The mountain has 418 steps which lead to the town park.
