St. John is one of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Large parts of the island were bought out by the american Laurence Rockefeller in 1956 from Denmark. He is the founder of the St. John National Park which has proven to be a tourist magnet.

Charlotte Amalie is the largest cruise port on Saint Thomas. A colorful Caribbean island, it is known for its Danish colonial architecture, sweeping beaches, and lots and lots of shopping. Charlotte Amalie was once a popular pit stop for pirates. Charlestown is located on the Caribbean island of Nevis and is the capital of the Republic of Saint Kitts and Nevis. The town was built on the protected leeward side of the island and is the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton.
