Antigua is an island in the West Indies in the Caribbean region and it is the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua means "ancient" in Spanish and was named by Christopher Columbus. In 1784 Admiral Horatio Nelson sailed to Antigua where he found warm, steady winds, a coastline of safe harbours, and a protective coral reef: the perfect environment to establish Great Britain's most important Caribbean base. Over 200 years later the same characteristics that attracted the Royal Navy have transformed Antigua in one of the Caribbean's premier tourist destinations.
Dominica is nestled between the French Islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean's eastern Antilles. It is one of the Windward Isles. The principal laguage is English, though Creole is also spoken widely. Lush vegetation and indigenous forest cloak the island's mountainous terrain. Tree ferns, orchids, heliconia and anthurium lilies decorate the forest floor whilst 175 species of birds, green iguanas, geckoes, tree lizards, aguti, manicou, beautiful butterflies and a multitude of colourful flora can be enjoyed throughout an island where nature trails abound.

The small capital of the British Virgin Islands is located on the main island of Tortola and has about 9000 inhabitants. The city was founded in 1648 by Dutch settlers. The town has been destroyed on many occasions due to coming under siege. The oldest buildings that remain now date back to 1840. If you're looking to explore the city, the Botanical Garden is a good place to start. Then, you can make your way to the ferry terminal of the city where many beautiful yachts drop anchor.
