Around 300 000 residents live in the Chillean port city of Valparaíso. A main feature and part of the charm of this town are the houses, which are brightly coloured and decorated with paintings. Some wineries are found near and around the town, where the world-famous Chilean wine is produced.

Hanga Roa is the only town that is located on the Chilean Easter Island in the Pacific. A worthwhile visit would be going to the beautiful port or one of the intriguing anthropological museums.

Bounty Bay is one of the Pitcairn Islands, a remote archipelago in the Pacific. A few metres underwater you can still see the remains of the famous sailing ship Bounty from the end of the 19th Century.
