My Tho is the capital of the Tien Giang province, Vietnam and is mostly dominated by agriculture. Observe the lives of the locals on the banks of the Mekong river and enjoy the view of the beautiful rice fields!

On small canals of the Mekong River, you will find the floating markets of Cai Be. Here you can experience the vietnamese bartering first-hand and purchase a few souvenirs for the folks back home.

Sa Dec is the best place to get to know Vietnam in its original and authentic way. The sleepy little town is known all over the country for its colorful flower gardens and markets by the river, where local traders offer their wares.

Tan Chau is located in Vietnam's An Giang Province, along the Mekong River in the South-East of the country. Tan Chau is known globally for the high quality silk produced in the region. Visitors to Tan Chau usually enjoy the unique experience of witnessing the craftsmanship involved in producing silk. Visitors to the region also have the opportunity to witness locals making mats from palm leaves and reeds.

Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia and has about 2 million inhabitants. The name "Phnom Penh" means "Penh Hill"; this artificial hill was built in the 14th Century to accommodate five statues of Buddha. The city lies on the river Tonle Sap, a tributary of the Mekong River, and is the economic center of Cambodia. Not to be missed are the king's palace, the many French colonial mansions and the Central Market Phsar Thmei.

Oudong is a town in Cambodia, situated in the north-western part of Kampong Speu Province. The town is located at the foothill of the mountain Phnom Udong. The temples are located on the mountain, which runs from the southeast to northeast, with a low saddle in the middle. Oudong is a monumental necropolis of royalty for the past kings of Cambodia.

Koh Okhna Tey, or “Silk Island” as it is often referred to, is an Island in southern Cambodia, in the province of Kandal. It is connected to another island, Koh Dach by an old metal bridge. The island naturally gets its nickname from its tradition silk industry. Walking through the village you’ll see woman on the porch of their houses weaving and are often happy to see visitors. Those who speak English are happy to tell you all about their honoured tradition, including stories from the history behind it. The river bed is dotted with picnic areas and cheap food stalls, so you can enjoy a bite to eat either under the sun or in a shaded hut. Koh Okhna Tey is an island steeped in a well-preserved culture, where a traditional way of life is enough for the locals.

Angkor Ban is a small village in rural Cambodia. There is a large pagoda village on the outskirts of the town. Local delicacies include salted snails, it is also not uncommon to come across large amounts of vegetables such as cucumber laid out in the sun, as it is a common method used by locals to preserve produce. Locals lead a very simple way of life and most homes are wooden and built on stilts.
