Da Nang is located in central Vietnam and has a natural harbor, which makes the city a major trading point on the Pacific Ocean. The clouds pass and Hai Van Pass also known as a natural boundary and meteorological divide between North and South Vietnam. The pass is about 20 km long and reaches 496 m altitude.
