The city lies on the Innvik Olden Fjord in Norway. From here you may take a trip to the Briksdal glacier.

Innvikfjord is a fjord located in the Stryn municipality, in Norway. It has a length of approximately 4.5 kilometres and it is a continuation of the Utvik fjord. Visitors should be prepared for a show of nature like no other. Innvikfjord also offers more glaciers than any other of the Norwegian fjords, in addition to offering spectacular views of the highest mountain peaks in the area. The little picturesque town of Olden is also located at the Innvikfjord.

The 565m deep Nordfjord is located in the Norweigian county of Hordaland and is surrounded by a 1400m high mountain landscape. It is one of the longest fjords in the country.

Flåm is a small Norwegian village located near the Sognefjord, with an approximate population of 450. Flåm is located at the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord. Flåm has become somewhat renowned due to the location of the village amongst mountains and the fjords. The Flam Railway has been rated amongst one of the most scenic rail journeys in the world and offers a fascinating mountain landscape in addition to thundering waterfalls The nearby Stegastein viewpoint is another is a popular tourist stop and offers unrivalled scenery of the fjords. .

Sognefjord is the 2nd largest fjord in the world and is over 200km long. The scenery along its banks is amongst the most beautiful in Scandinavia.

The Aurlandsfjord can be found in Norway's Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane muncipality. The fjord itself is world-renowned for the stunning natural landscape which surrounds it. Visitors to Aurlandsfjord can expect to find snow-topped mountain peaks as well as many scenic villages such as Flåm. The Aurlandsfjord is an estimated 17 kilometres in length and is a part of the much larger Sognefjord, which is the world's second largest fjord. The fjord itself is also a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2005, when the Nærøyfjord and it's surroundings were included.

Haugesund is a market town in Norway. It is situated between Bergen and Stavanger on the North Sea coast.
