The site of Kom Ombo is located on the banks of the Nile in Upper Egypt. The ruins of the twin temple located here had been burried in sand up to half way for a long time. and the ruins of the twin temple were halfway buried in sand for a long time until the year 1893 when they were rediscovered by Jacques Jean Morgan and restored.
