The emirate of Dubai is home to around 1.8 million inhabitants. The majority of the population lives in the city. Dubai is known for its modern and futuristic projects. From skyscrapers on manmade islands, to amusement parks, there is hardly anything that does not exist in this city. The capital of Oman, Muscat is located in the northeast of the country on the Gulf of Oman. Muscat has many beautiful beaches, parks, and a moat, which is located next to the Great Mosque of Sultan Quabus. Jeddah is located south of the Red Sea and forms the gateway to Mecca. A city tour is undoubtedly advisable.

Luxor is located on the eastern bank of the Nile and has been the administrative headquarters of the newly formed Al-Governements Uqsur since December 2009. A large part of the temple was constructed by Amenhotep III and is said to have been built in the honor of God.

Thira is a Greek island located on the South Aegean Volcanic Belt. In the western part of the island, one sees clearly that is the remnant of a volcano. The crater rim, and other spectacular sights, testify to the volcanic eruption that occurred about 1600 years BC. The inhabited parts of the island are known for their beautiful white villages with colorful shutters and blue domes. In addition to historical attractions on the island, there are also many beautiful beaches.
