Cape Horn is located on the headland of a Chilean rock island. The circumnavigation of the Cape was known as one of the most difficult river passages. The Atlantic and the Pacific meet here with their cold and warm water masses, meaning that a strong current is generated.

Montevideo is the seaside capital of Uruguay, boasting beautiful beaches such as Playa de los Pocitos and La Rambla. The city's old town, Ciudad Vieaja, features both colonial houses, like Casa Rivera, as well as glamorous art deco architecture.
