Nagasaki is located on the third-largest Japanese island of Kyushu on the south-west coast. The city became well known in 1945 when it suffered a nuclear bombing. The city is home to a range of museums, one of which is the atomic bomb museum which commemorates the city's past.

The island of Cheju is known as the "Hawaii of Korea" due to its tropical climate. The island is home ot some mountains such as the Halla-san, the third largest mountain in Korea, which you should definitely pay a visit to. There are also some sandy beaches along the coast and even a beautiful waterfull which plunges directinly into the sea.

Seoul is the capital of South Korea, full of modern skyscrapers and neon lights. The city offers a fascinating mix of old and new with its Buddhist temples, pagodas and palaces. In addition, the city is a major business, cultural and financial center. This magnificent city is easy to travel around as it has a wonderful subway system.

The Kanmon Straits or Straits of Shimonoseki is the stretch of water separating two of Japan's four main islands.

In Hiroshima, due to the Second World War, the are many war monuments and memorials such as the Peace Park, the Peace Tower, and a peace museum. The original Hiroshima Castle (called Carp Castle),was destroyed in 1945 by the atomic bombing. However, it was reconstructed in the 50's and now houses a museum of the history of Hiroshima before World War II.
