Weissenkirchen in der Wachau is also known as the 'Heart of the Danube'. The center of the small market town is the Gothic church built in 1190. Then town boasts historic buildings and magnificent reading courtyards. Weißenkrichen in the Wachau is a place that offers romance and beauty.
Grein, the third-oldest town of Mühlviertel, was founded in 1491. Visit the historic theatre that was built in 1791. It is the oldest civic theater in Austria.
