Utrecht is a city in the Netherlands with about 311,000 inhabitants. It has an impressive history of nearly 2000 years. Utrecht is a major industrial city. Visit the beautiful old churches, such as the Cathedral of St. Martin, or the city palaces. Numerous museums, including the Railway Museum and the University Museum are also worth seeing.

Ghent is Belgium's third largest city with 240,000 inhabitants. In addition to the Old Town, the Castle of the Counts is one of the main attractions in the city. Built in the 15th - 17th Century, this town hall is also worth a visit.
Brussels is Belgium's capital and home to 1.1 million inhabitants. The Grand Palace and a 60-centimeter-high bronze figure called "Manneken Pis" are among the most important tourist attractions and were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1988.
In the north of Belgium, along the Scheldt river is Antwerp, a city known worldwide for the important role it plays in the processing and trading of diamonds. Antwerp has its very own Diamond District, visitors can partake in walking tours to learn more. The historic center of Antwerp is characterized by many well-preserved buildings from the late Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau periods. Antwerp is also known for the vast array of markets which take place in the city, offering items such as antiques, flowers, local produce and much more.
The small town of Kinderdijk in the Netherlands is located about 15 kilometers south of Rotterdam. The town is best known for its windmills, and is on the 1997 UNECO World Cultural sites list.
Dordrecht, besides Amsterdam and Rotterdam, is the third largest city in the Netherlands. Dordrecht Island is on the Three Rivers Corner, the busiest waterway in the country. Local attractions include the Grote Kerk (a Gothic church with an unfinished tower) and the National Park De Biesbosch.
