Port Louis is the capital of Mauritius and is located in the Indian Ocean. With a population of around 170 000, the city is the largest as well as the cultural and economic center of the country. Antsiranana, also known as Diego Suarez, from the name of the Portuguese navigator who visited the bay in 1543, is situated to the extreme north of Madagascar. Its name was changed to Antsiranana in 1975, but many still call it Diego. It has one of the world's most beautiful natural deep-water harbours and is loved by tourists despite its remote location.

Nosy Be is an island about 10 km off the northwest coast of Madagascar. Literally translated, the island's name means "big island" and is of volcanic origin. Thanks to its beautiful beaches and wild nature, Nosy Be is a known paradise for divers, boaters, sailors and fishermen.
