Norwegian Spirit – What to do
If you have brought the family, the kids can be left to their own devices in one of Norwegian Spirit children’s activity centres. The younger ones can be entrusted to the capable Norwegian Cruise Line staff at Charlie’s Child Care Centre, while older children will doubtless enjoy the Celebrity Teen Disco. The Buccaneer’s Wet and Wild Children’s Swimming Pool will also give them hours of fun.
For the grown-ups, there is the option of something sporty such as basketball or jogging, a trip to the Roman spa and fitness centre, or a crack at Maharajah’s Casino. Get ready for your evening’s entertainment at Oscar’s Hair and Beauty Salon, before heading out to one of Norwegian Spirit’s many bars. The Galaxy of the Stars Observation Lounge is an excellent spot to catch the glorious sunset, and you can either go down the champagne route at Champagne Charlie’s or treat yourself to a pint of British beer at Henry’s Pub, complete with darts and traditional fish and chips. Shanghai Bar is a sports bar with an Asian theme, while Maharini’s Lounge and Night Club is worth noting for those who want to dance the night away.
Norwegian Spirit – Where to eat
From Bratwurst in the Bier Garten to tortellini at La Trattoria, Norwegian Spirit has something for you. Fancy french fare is dished up at Le Bistro, while a no nonsense steak and chips is available from Cagney’s Steakhouse. Shogun Asian Restaurant is on hand to cater for all your Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine desires.
The intimate surroundings of the Garden Room are the perfect setting for Norwegian Spirit’s signature five-course culinary journey, while elsewhere the Windows Main Dining Room takes its name from the fabulous panoramic view that serves as a stunning setting for any meal. If you are feeling peckish during the night, you can choose to head down for a sandwich at Blue Lagoon, or simply pick up the phone and take advantage of Norwegian Spirit’s 24-hour room service.
