Your complimentary dining options on board the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship will depend on which class of accommodation you choose. Those in Queens Grill suites, Princess Grill suites and Britannia Club suites have their own dining venues, although most guests will dine in the grand Britannia Restaurant. Speciality options include The Verandah, an elegant steakhouse, and for a real treat at sea, guests can enjoy a Godiva Chocolate Afternoon Tea.

Being a traditional, luxury cruise liner rather than a modern cruise ship, Queen Mary 2 is probably better suited to adult travellers. Whilst there’s no need to dress to the nines every night on board Queen Mary 2, guests tend to find that evenings at sea are an occasion for finer attire. During the day, casual and comfortable is encouraged – although swimwear is not permitted in indoor dining areas – and you’ll be sure to find more casual lounging areas in the evenings, too.
