The Cycladic island of Mykonos is one of Greece's most popular holiday destinations. The island enchants visitors with its cute colorful fishing boats, windmills,museums, churches and architecture.
Kusadasi lies on the Turkish Aegean coast with about 59,000 inhabitants. Numerous sandy beaches are located in and around Kusadasi. The highlight of Kusadasi is, without doubt, the ruins of Ephesus. One of the oldest, largest and most important cities of Asia Minor, is located there. Kusadasi has an electric nightlife with the aegean party scene along with irish pubs and multilingual tours.
Thira is a Greek island located on the South Aegean Volcanic Belt. In the western part of the island, one sees clearly that is the remnant of a volcano. The crater rim, and other spectacular sights, testify to the volcanic eruption that occurred about 1600 years BC. The inhabited parts of the island are known for their beautiful white villages with colorful shutters and blue domes. In addition to historical attractions on the island, there are also many beautiful beaches.
The city of Chania is full of history has seen the rise and destruction of empires and has many stories to tell . In addition to some modern buildings there are always treasures, like the little Venetian church of San Rocco, built in Renaissance style.
The small port town has about 300 inhabitants and is the starting point for trips to Olympia. Olympia was the site of the ancient Olympic Games. Impressively, visitors can see remains of the Temple of Zeus, the stadium and the Temple of Hera.
