Thira is a Greek island located on the South Aegean Volcanic Belt. In the western part of the island, one sees clearly that is the remnant of a volcano. Cyprus' second largest city, Limassol is located in the south of the Mediterranean island. In addition to a beautiful beach promenade, Limassol offers an Ethnography museum and a Medieval museum. The museum, with medieval artefacts, is located in the Castle of Limassol.
