Istanbul is situated on the northern shore of the Marmara Sea between the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. Istanbul is only city in the world that is located on two continents. Numerous museums, theaters, opera houses and mosques and palaces can be visited. The Cycladic island of Mykonos is one of Greece's most popular holiday destinations. The island enchants visitors with its cute colorful fishing boats, windmills,museums, churches and architecture.

Thira is a Greek island located on the South Aegean Volcanic Belt. In the western part of the island, one sees clearly that is the remnant of a volcano. Gallipoli is a coastal town of 20,000 in southern Italy, about 200km from Bari. The old part of the city is packed with historical building and structures, including a 16th Century bridge and the 14th Century city wall. The newer side of the city is filled with modern buildings, including a skyscraper. The village relies on fishing and tourism mainly for its income.

Hvar is situated in the Adriatic Sea off the Croatian coast and is the fourth largest of the islands there, with a population of 11,500. Hvar is characterized by its lavender and rosemary fields and the many narrow country roads, from which one has a wonderful view of the turquoise sea.

Pula is a port city in Croatia. The population is approximately 58,984. The main landmark is a Roman amphitheater, which was built by Emperor Augustus and enlarged by the Emperor Vespasian. It is one of the largest amphitheatres built by the Romans. Also worth seeing is the Temple of Augustus in Pula.
