Itinerary

The city of Giurgiu is located in southern Romania. From here you have the opportunity to take day trips to the city of Bucharest.

The port city of Rousse is situated in the lowlands of the Danube. With a theater, an art gallery and several universities, the city is the cultural center of Northern Bulgaria. It is often called 'The Little Vienna'.

Vidin is a port town located to the north west edge of Bulgaria. Vidin is well known for its wines, trade centre and the Baba Vida castle.

The Iron Gates is a gorge on the Danube River. The gorge lies between Romania in the north and Serbia in the south. At this point, the river separates the southern Carpathian Mountains from the northwestern foothills of the Balkan Mountains.

Belgrade is the most populous city in Serbia, with an estimated 1.6 million inhabitants. Furthermore, it is also the economic, political and cultural capital of the country. The city offers a lot of theaters, music institutions, the aviation museum, monuments and 65 parks.

Novi Sad is the second biggest city in Serbia, with a population of 220,000. It is home to the oldest Serbian Institute for Art and Science. The Petrovaradin Fortress and the old town hall are popular attractions for tourists.

Ilok is the easternmost town and municipality in northeastern Croatia, in Slavonia. The town is home to a Franciscan monastery and Ilok Castle, which is a popular day trip for domestic tourists.

Directly on the bank of the Danube, near the Croatian and Serbian border, is the Hungarian town of Mohacs with about 20,000 inhabitants. The town is known especially for its six-day carnival, which annually attracts a large crowd of onlookers.

Twice the width of traditional European river ships and offering the luxury of space, four unique dining venues and more leisure opportunities, the innovative AmaMagna is reimagining river cruising on the Danube! Most accommodations are spacious suites measuring 355 to 710 sq. ft. with full balconies. In addition to the Main Restaurant and The Chef’s Table, AmaMagna offers Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant named for AmaWaterways’ late Co-Owner Jimmy Murphy, and the intimate Al Fresco Restaurant, serving up delicious vegetable-forward fare. Both a sun-deck pool and whirlpool invite guests to refresh and enjoy the views, while the ship's Zen Wellness Studio is an expansive space with a state-of-the-art fitness center, two massage rooms, hair salon, nail salon, and a refreshing juice bar. A brand-new full-size pickleball court on the ship’s Sun Deck is popular among active guests.
